Keis: Winter Riders WantedKEIS launches ‘Wanted’ winter video campaign on 17 September – backed by a 20% increase in stock after last winter’s sell-out success.

The case opens on 17 September

Most UK riders put the bike away in October and don’t look at it again until April. Shockingly, intelligence suggests there are increasing numbers who’re still out there in December, January and even February, riding to work, riding for the sake of it, apparently immune to the weather. KEIS thinks that warrants an investigation.

‘Wanted’ follows a pair of dogged detectives as they work through a list of suspects: riders and influencers repeatedly sighted on the road in conditions no reasonable person would tolerate. Statements are taken. Evidence is examined. Theories are advanced. Nobody, so far, has confessed to anything.

New instalments will be released regularly between September and November, when the culprit is finally revealed. Riders can follow the case as it unfolds, and quite possibly recognise a few of the suspects’ habits in themselves.

“It’s a bit daft, and that’s deliberate,” says ADDISON ROTHWELL, Head of eCommerce and Marketing at KEIS. “We take the kit extremely seriously: riders trust it to keep them warm and safe in genuinely miserable conditions. We just don’t think we need to take ourselves quite so seriously while we tell people about it. Riding through winter should be something you enjoy, not something you endure.”

Exhibit A: last winter

The joke works because the underlying problem is real, and last winter KEIS had a version of it themselves. Demand for heated kit ran well ahead of forecast, and by January several of the most popular models and sizes had sold out completely.

That won’t happen again. For Winter 2026, KEIS has increased its stock order by 20% across the range and brought delivery forward, so garments are available well ahead of the first hard frost, rather than arriving in the middle of it.

The prime suspect: UltraFlex Heated Jacket

Top of last season’s sell-out list was the J601 UltraFlex Heated Jacket. It boasts six far infrared heating panels covering the chest, back, and sleeves, delivering 65W of even, sun-like warmth across three heat settings.

The four-way stretch UltraFlex fabric moves with the rider rather than bunching or restricting, and it’s breathable and quick-drying.

A central power hub runs other KEIS garments from the same supply, and the jacket is dual-powered, running continuously from the bike’s 12V outlet or from an optional 5000mAh KEIS battery. Standard or Bluetooth controller options are available.

The KEIS J601 UltraFlex Heated Jacket is priced at £220.00 including VAT, and its heating panels are covered by a lifetime warranty.

Follow the investigation

‘Wanted’ launches on 17 September at keisapparel.com and across the KEIS social channels [#KEIS], with new instalments through to the November reveal.

The full KEIS range, including the UltraFlex Heated Jacket, is in stock now – and, as the detectives are about to discover – it all works just as well on a cold autumnal morning as it does in January.Keis: Winter Riders Wanted
