Motorcycle Industry Rallies Behind Two Wheels For Life’s ‘the Big Ride’Two Wheels for Life’s ‘The Big Ride’ to Mallory Park on 16th August is gathering momentum and industry backing.

As the official charity of MotoGP and the FIM, Two Wheels for Life is well-versed in organising unique events for the motorcycle community from ride-outs to memorabilia auctions and money-can’t-buy experiences. The Big Ride is set to be another fantastic opportunity for UK motorcyclists to support the charity and have an amazing time on bikes at the same time.

To help make The Big Ride a day to remember, global brands in motorcycling are offering their support. Two Wheels for Life is delighted to announce official partners for The Big Ride include Yamaha Motor Europe (YME), Bike Shed Moto Co., Alpinestars and Beeline.

The partnership with Yamaha is a longstanding one, with the Japanese manufacturer supporting Two Wheels for Life since 2022, and the brand’s AG100 and AG200 motorcycles playing a vital role in the work of Riders for Health to enable community nurses to deliver essential health care services, like bed nets to prevent malaria and post-natal services to families. Yamaha recently announced a three-year extension to the partnership.

Earlier this year, Two Wheels for Life announced an official partnership with global motorcycle brand, community and venue, Bike Shed Moto Co, further solidifying the charity’s footprint within the motorcycling community in the UK and beyond. Bike Shed is supporting Two Wheels for Life through a series of fundraising initiatives, including The Big Ride, as well as ticketed events at Bike Shed featuring prominent motorcycle personalities.

Alpinestars are also existing supporters of Two Wheels for Life, and have worked with the charity on numerous occasions. They join Beeline to complete the set of official Big Ride partners, bringing their personal touches to the ride.

All official partners will be setting unique challenges for The Big Ride ticket holders to complete on their way into the Festival of Motorcycling at Mallory Park, and also providing some amazing prizes on offer once the riders reach the circuit.

Two Wheels for Life CEO & Co-Founder Andrea Coleman said:

“The Big Ride will be a wonderful chance for everyone to have fun with the treasure hunt on the way to the Festival of Motorcycling, as well as a unique chance to meet motorcycling personalities and enjoy the festival. We are very thankful to our event partners for supporting this amazing occasion, and the festival organisers for the opportunity to organise the Big Ride to coincide with the Festival for Motorcycling.”Motorcycle Industry Rallies Behind Two Wheels For Life’s ‘the Big Ride’

What is The Big Ride?

The Big Ride is a treasure hunt style charity ride-out. You decide where to start, and how to get to the finishing point at Mallory Park on 16th August 2025, with plenty of fun along the way! Tickets also include camping and weekend access to the Festival of Motorcycling.

Whether you ride a Vespa or a Harley-Davidson, join Two Wheels for Life for a day of madcap fun, venturing through the English countryside and taking on challenges, before meeting at Leicestershire’s Mallory Park for laps of the track (track ticket required) and the chance to join all the fun of Classic Bike Trackdays’ Festival of Motorcycling including camping, live music and much more.

Join big names from the world of motorcycling including MotoGP legend Randy Mamola and former British racer Niall Mackenzie to have fun and raise funds for the only charity that shows that motorcycles save lives, getting vital life-saving healthcare to people across Africa.

Challenges will be set by the likes of Instagram biker Harvey Rides Bikes, current Isle of Man TT lap record holder Peter Hickman, Two Wheels ambassador, motorcycle racer and adventurer Vanessa Ruck, The Girl on a Bike, plus event partners Bike Shed Moto Co., Beeline, Yamaha, Alpinestars and more.

How it works

  • Plan your route. Start from any UK location leaving enough time to complete about 10 challenges and arrive at Mallory Park by 3pm.
  • The challenges. Set by motorcycle personalities, our challenges will test your skill, resourcefulness and ingenuity. You’ll get a list in advance of the day – complete as many as you want.
  • Share. Our challengers want to see evidence! It’s easy but you’ll need your smartphone. We’ll share full details of how to do this before the day.
  • Win prizes. The three riders who complete the most challenges will win, plus everybody will be entered into a draw to win prizes from us and our amazing partners.
  • Have fun. Your ticket includes access to the Festival of Motorcycling at Mallory Park, Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th August with free camping. Enjoy!

All participants get free entry to The Festival of Motorcycling on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 August at Mallory Park where they will join Two Wheels motorcycle celebrities and get refreshments on arrival.

The festival features static displays and live track sessions showcasing everything from brand new showroom machines to classic & vintage bikes. There’s also action on the dirt, with an adventure bike course and trials area plus special guests and live entertainment on Saturday evening.

Those that buy track tickets also get the chance to ride a parade lap of Mallory Park.
