EICMA provides the international stage for two concept bikes offering new interpretations of Fantic’s e-MTB platforms. The Rhapsody Extreme takes the full-carbon bike’s enduro capabilities to the next level with premium components from EXT Racing Shox and Brembo. Its setup reflects the crossover between mountain biking and the motorcycle world, with other dual-crown fork options also available to order. Alongside it, the Ridge Rally reimagines the aluminium platform for adventure riding, with dedicated solutions for exploration and longer rides.
Taking the potential of its e-MTB platforms further, exploring new technical possibilities while strengthening the connection with Fantic’s heritage and identity. This is the philosophy behind the Rhapsody Extreme and Ridge Rally, the two concept bikes unveiled by the Italian brand at EICMA 2026. Designed to address different segments and riding styles, both embody a vision in which decades of experience in the motorcycle world meet the expertise and innovation of the mountain bike industry.
The name Extreme is more than a reference to the pursuit of maximum performance: it reflects a clear design philosophy. The aim is to push the Rhapsody platform to its limits, bringing decades of technical expertise from motorsport competition into the e-MTB world while highlighting the contribution of Italian companies specialising in high-performance components.
A combination of heritage and innovation that finds its most distinctive expression in the Rhapsody Extreme.
Italian engineering excellence in the service of performance
This vision takes shape through a selection of components from some of Italy’s leading specialists. EXT Racing Shox, a Vicenza-based company specialising in high-performance suspension systems with a strong motorsport background, supplies the Vaia inverted dual-crown fork, developed for downhill and the most demanding gravity applications. The configuration on display at EICMA is one of several possible interpretations of the Rhapsody Extreme. The bike will also be available to order with other dual-crown fork options, including solutions from Öhlins and FOX. The bike on display at EICMA is equipped at the rear with the EXT Arma V4 shock absorber.
Completing the setup are Brembo GR-Pro brakes, which offer extensive customisation of braking feel through adjustments to lever reach and brake bite point.
The frame, suspension and braking system reflect a shared engineering philosophy, translating competition-proven expertise into practical solutions designed to enhance control and precision on the most technical trails.
Fantic heritage: racing DNA in full colour
The Extreme identity is also expressed through a new “Heritage” colour scheme, featuring the red, white and blue tones historically associated with Fantic and its motorsport racing heritage. This visual tribute to the brand’s roots highlights the connection between the world of motorised two-wheelers and mountain biking.
With 180 mm of travel at both the front and rear, the bike retains the technical foundations of the Fantic Rhapsody. Its torsionally stiff frame, enduro-specific geometry and progressive rear suspension kinematics provide the basis for a bike designed to deliver stability, sensitivity and control in the most demanding riding conditions.
With the Rhapsody Extreme, Fantic takes this philosophy to a new level, creating a setup with an even more distinctive identity. It brings together the pursuit of maximum performance, motorcycle heritage and Italian engineering expertise, further strengthening the distinctive character of the brand’s e-MTB platform.
Fantic Ridge Rally: where the spirit of adventure knows no limits
Alongside the Rhapsody Extreme, Fantic also presents the new Ridge Rally at EICMA, a new take on its aluminium e-MTB platform designed for riders looking to venture beyond familiar trails and embrace mountain biking as an adventure. Its dedicated setup is tailored to longer rides and exploration, featuring a rear rack for carrying equipment, a lighting system and a range extender that increases the energy capacity available to the rider.
The result is a configuration that retains the Ridge platform’s versatility and rugged character while adding practical features for those who see e-MTB riding as an opportunity to discover new terrain and embark on adventures without limits.

FANTIC BIKES
Fantic Motor was founded in 1968 and quickly established itself as one of the symbols of European motorcycle culture, thanks to iconic models such as the Caballero, capable of perfectly capturing the spirit of freedom and rebellion of an entire generation.
Over the years, the brand has evolved while preserving its DNA, rooted in performance, innovation, and a strong sense of belonging—elements that are also reflected in the Bike Business Unit, founded by Fantic in 2015. This division extends that heritage into the world of e-MTBs, combining engineering expertise, Italian design, and a true racing approach. This has given rise to a new way of experiencing off-road riding, while remaining true to the Fantic spirit.
